This filter, with a diameter of 58mm, blocks all UV radiation and therefore produces clearer and sharper images.
Hoya's HMC coating is applied to both the front and back glass surfaces.
The coating is water-repellent and protects against dirt and fingerprints.
This filter is extremely thin (3 mm with 1 mm thick glass) and more than 40% lighter than standard filters.
Because the filter offers extra protection, it is recommended to keep it on the lens at all times.
